Our client a communication firm with interest in Television and Radio is looking to fill the following locations: Lagos, Abuja, PortHarcourt, Benin, Agenebode, Kaduna, Kano, Jos, Yenogoa, Enugu,
Maidugri, Yola, Gombe, Ilorin, Oshogbo, Bauchi and Jos TELEVISION
1. Station Managers (DS/SM/20111)
Responsibilities
To ensure compliance of the staff with NBC standards and guidelines while actively overseeing the execution of programs and event.
Interpret and implement the corporate mission, goals and aspirations of the company-promotion of good governance, democratic rule and rich African value and tradition
Ensure and manage the enterprise to profitability and engage the human resources to achieving the best results.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum of HND/ University degree in Arts and social sciences
Minimum of 10 years cognate experience in television operations and familiar with NBC code.
Must be a seasoned broadcast manager with strong passion for current affairs and programming.
2. Producers (DS/PR/20112)
Responsibilities
To oversee each project from conception to completion.
Conceptualize ideas for program packaging.
Scout for talents and crew such as actors, reporters, hosts, guests, narrators, presenters.
Liaise with the Director/Producer on scripting and concept development.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum of HND/University Degree.
Minimum of 6 years cognate experience.
3. Programmes Supervisors and Officers (DS/PS/PO 20113)
Responsibilities
To coordinate and monitor program scheduling broadcasts, prepare and update schedules, screens and acquire programs and participates in program programs.
Develop programming concepts for the station and ensures standard program are aired.
Monitor competitive brands for better performance strategic programming.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum of HND/University Degree.
Minimum of 3 years cognate experience.
4. TV DIRECTORS - DS/TD/20114
Core Duties:
To coordinate all aspects of filming programs, directing live broadcasts, setting up studios to match the vision of the producer and writing team, post-production editing and mixing and general oversight of the technical crew.
Takes control of the production process while ensuring that all crew members are guided and coordinated
Ensures test recording before recorded and live broadcast for perfect audio/visual delivery
Entry Requirements
Minimum of HND / University Degree
Minimum of 10 years cognate experience, 5 of which must in a management level
5.Transmission/VTR Officers - DS/VO/20115
Core Duties:
Ensure that the channel is on air without interruption at all times and maintain the technical
Standards of transmission; while responding in a timely and effective manner to all transmission related issues.
Transmission schedule for efficient service delivery
Identification of play points of materials during production be it live or package
Must ensure all daily occurrences or events within transmission are correctly logged and documented
Entry Requirements
Minimum of HND / University Degree
Minimum of 3 years cognate experience
6. Sound Engineers - DS/SE 20116
Core Duties:
Amplify, enhance and mix or reproduce sound.
Responsible for sound balancing and mixing for all studio recordings, live and outside broadcasts.
Conduct sound test, check prior to production for proper alignment of sound.
Logging all events during shifts and ensuring all equipemnt are properly maintained and utilized.
Entry requirements:
Minimum of ND/relevant training certificate in the field.
Minimum of 3 years cognate experience.
7. Lighting Officers - DS/LO 20117
Core Duties:
Set up and control lighting equipment for television broadcast or motion pictureProduction
Determining the right lighting mood to suit program types
Setting lighting apparatus for major shows and programs
Effective documentation of inventory of all lighting facilities and accessories
Entry requirements:
Minimum of ND / relevant training certificate in the field.
Minimum of 3 years cognate experience
